Is Cinco Family Friendly?

Cherokee Street Cinco de Mayo Festival is a family friendly event. Minors under 15 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Please be mindful of little one’s ears and always provide appropriate hearing protection.

Will there be FOOD AND DRINK?

Food and drinks are sold throughout the grounds. Visitors are prohibited from bringing beverages onto the festival grounds. This includes, but is not limited to, beer, wine and distilled spirits

Where do I PARK?

Parking is available on adjacent streets of the festival, please be mindful of neighbors at all times.

Is the festival HANDICAP Accessible?

Festival grounds are handicap accessible. Handicap parking is on Cherokee Street, east of Jefferson.

are PETS and Service Animals Welcome?

Only trained service animals will be allowed on the festival grounds. Please leave dogs and other pets at home as they may pose safety or health risks in such a crowded and stimulating environment.

Will FIRST AID be available on site?

Emergency Medical Technicians are on duty on the festival grounds at all times. The First Aid Station is located at Texas Avenue and Cherokee Street, on the Sound side of Cherokee.

Are there ATM’s at the festival?

Automatic teller machines are located throughout the festival grounds.

Will there be Security?

To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees, all bags entering the festival will be subject to security screening. If possible, please travel lightly and leave your bags at home. Cherokee Events Foundation is not responsible for items left in parked cars.

  • Flammable items or liquids including aerosols and fireworks

  • Outside food or beverage including alcohol

  • Drones or unmanned aerial vehicles

  • Pets

  • Coolers

  • Backpacks

  • Glass or glass containers

  • Toy guns, smoke bombs, or snaps poppers/snappers/bang pops/bang snaps are not allowed at the festival
